The Ogun State Multi-Door Courthouse (OMDC) was launched on 10th February 2017 to provide further access to justice for the people of Ogun State and the wider society at large. The Ogun State Multi-Door Courthouse provides Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms, which are geared towards efficient and timely resolution of disputes.

The Multi-Door Courthouse is in itself, a multi-faceted dispute resolution center within the administrative structure of the Court; where disputes can be efficiently addressed through available mechanisms identified as best suited for the Parties and issues involved. The Multi-Door Courthouse serves as an alternative to litigation by providing other dispute mechanisms towards a faster, cost effective and user-friendly access to justice. Parties to a dispute have the choice of selecting their neutral third party from a panel of Neutrals composed of skilled and well experienced ADR practitioner.

The types of cases/ matters handled at the Ogun State Multi-Door Courthouse include Tenancy, Land disputes, Loan recovery, Partnership disputes, Child custody, Malicious damage, Probate matters, Assault, Breach of peace, Stealing, Obtaining money under false pretense etc.

There are three Ogun State Multi-Door Courthouses located at Abeokuta, Ijebu-ode and Sagamu.
